Magic School

The Caihong Academy of Magic is located in Pann, Galia, on top of a small mountain and surrounded by forest. It is a high school, and, like all magic high schools, it must be paid to attend. However, it's not that expensive to attend magic high schools, so most people are able to go, even if it's just for a year or two.

Each student is enrolled in Magic Studies, Magic Channeling, Plants, Potions, and Kung Fu for their first year. They have the option of Tai Chi or Art as an elective. After the first year, the students can drop the classes they aren't interested in. For the third- and fourth-years, the students must be handpicked by the teachers in order to continue to the more advanced levels of education. As a result, many students leave after two years. Students earn certificates for each class completed, in order to get jobs after school (or continue into magic college).

The school is small, in both physical size and student attendance. There are only four teachers: Ak-tu Caihong, Khurshid Jihan, Fern Oakley, and Aster Sundale. Ak-tu is the school's founder, and he teaches Kung Fu, Tai Chi, advanced Magic Studies, advanced Magic Channeling, and some art classes. Khurshid teaches basic Magic Studies and Magic Channeling, and assists Ak-tu in the Kung Fu classes. Fern teaches Plants and Potions, and is also the healer. Aster teaches some art classes and is the librarian.
